I like to use my writing and my business to support the arts whenever I can. That’s why I wrote about the Bellingham poetry scene for WhatcomTalk.com and Bellingham Experience (Bellingham Whatcom County Tourism). By accident, I noticed how active our local poets are but knew the word wasn’t getting out. We have true talent in our area but it can only be appreciated when it can be found. By sharing it in both media outlets, but written two different ways for the differing intended audiences, more people will be able to discover the talent lurking among us.
